Welcome to Second Grade Red!  I am absolutely thrilled to be teaching Second Grade at Christ the King.  I am originally from Connecticut, where I grew up attending Catholic schools from preschool through high school.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida with majors in English and Education, and I completed my Master’s of Education degree at Southern Methodist University.

I believe that Christ the King is a wonderful environment to encourage students to reach their academic potential, while fostering a strong foundation in faith.  As a mother of four children and a dedicated educator, I am passionate about facilitating learning for all students using research-based practices and compassion. 

Second grade is a very special year, as students grow even more independent.  I look forward to fostering students’ life-long love of learning, facilitating academic achievement, and instilling the confidence to succeed.  I am honored to be a part of the Christ the King family, and to have the opportunity to share First Reconciliation and First Communion with our Second Grade families!
