Class Info

HOMEWORK: Homework should take 45 minutes-1 hour each night, Monday through Thursday. This includes studying and memorizing math facts. Each child will be required to read 100 minutes a week. This reading will be recorded in their red LOGS folder. This red LOGS folder will be due back to school each week on Monday morning. If Monday is a holiday or day off of school, it will be due on Tuesday. Parents should assist their child in recording the books that they have been reading. The parent must initial the reading log after each entry. Along with reading logs, math logs are required each week. Math logs are also recorded in the red LOGS folder. Each child is expected to practice math facts or math related problems for 40 minutes per week.

WEEKLY COMMUNICATION: Green FRIDAY folders are sent home each week and contain graded class work and tests from that week. Please sign and return this folder, along with and any work that is 75% or below the Monday following the Friday that it came home.

The red assignment notebook that is in your child's big white binder has a weekly behavior record. Please check this weekly and sign that you have seen this.
