Daily Assigments

Kindergarten

Kindergartners are great learners, however I do not send formal homework for them. I encourage children to practice new words with their parents, brothers and sisters, friends and nannies! For instance, if we are learning about food, I will tell children  to practice saying food names in Spanish during dinner time.

First grade

The chidren are encourage to practice the new words at home with their family and friends. There will be test after finishing each lesson.

Second grade and Third grade

Homework consist in reviewing the previous lesson every day. Make a habit of studying the current lesson each day before Spanish class even if we do not have a test. The child will participate more efficiently during class and he/she will have more points in class participation.

• Review the assignment notebook each day after Spanish class. On that day the students will write if they have a test next class.

Ocasionally I will send worksheets as homework as a reinforcement of the lesson and we will work in special proyects too.
