Students should bring purple folders, mid-term review sheets, class required novels, and free read novels every day this week.

6th- Free Read and The Diary of Anne Frank. READING GROUPS.

7th- Free Read and The Prince and the Pauper.

8th - Free Read and A Separate Peace.

Monday- Vocabulary words for the week. Quotation Response.

Tuesday- Group Read. Study Guide work in class. Elements of a novel.

Wednesday- Group Read. Guided discussion. Comprehension/elements of a novel.

Thursday- Vocabulary quiz. Group Read.Guided discussion. comprehensio/elements of a novel/activities.

Friday- Free Read. Novel Review due March 30th.

HW -- reviewing the work that is discussed in class or finishing activities started in class, but not completed.

Daily Focus- Folders consist of sentence completions with student independent discussion, writing prompts with 8 to 10 sentence paragraphs, quotation interpretations, student share,and one page writing prompts. Organization of folders is extremely important and students must have folders class every day. (Handouts, student papers, and tests are kept in the folders.)

8th Grade- TKM Chapt. 12-14 is due Tuesday. Don't forget to bring Death Comes for the Archbishop.
