Mrs. Kalka

My name is Ronda Kalka, and I teach fifth grade Language Arts and
Social Studies. I received my education degree from Texas A & M University, and later my Master's of Education degree at the University of North Texas.
I have previously taught 6th grade in the Mesquite Schools and have had many years of substituting at Highlander School.  My husband and I are parishioners at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Richardson and live in the Lake Highlands area of Dallas. I have four talented daughters, who have all been educated in the Catholic schools,, aged 20-12 years. In my spare time, I enjoy tennis, travel and attending my daughter's dance and athletic events.

Throughout my career, I have strived to model good Christian
values and make a difference in each student's life.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to positively affect my students' lives here at Christ the
King School.  In this setting of faculty camaraderie, parental support, and
superb curriculum, I feel I can achieve my goals of enriching each child
spiritually, intellectually, and emotionally.
