Mrs. Odom

I was born in Houston, Texas, the fifth child in a large Catholic family. I received a Bachelor's of Science in Speech Pathology and Education of the Deaf from Texas Woman's University. I am currently working on my Masters Degree in Education of Mathematics at the University of Texas at Dallas.

I began teaching in an inner city elementary school in Houston. My husband, Charlie was a Naval Officer, and we moved frequently. Wherever we were located, I found a teaching position. I taught middle school in Florida, substitute taught in Virginia, and taught fifth grade English and music at the International School in Japan.

In 1997, my family finally settled back in Texas, and we've lived in Dallas ever since. I taught in Richardson before moving to Christ the King where teach 5th grade Math, Science and Religion. Charlie and I have three children: Adrienne, Chaz, and Lane, and one son-in-law: Jonathan. I love to read, sew, and collect frogs and angels.
