Mrs. Preston

Welcome to Christ the King School! My name is Amanda Preston and this is my 5th year teaching Kindergarten at CKS. Last March I got married so many of you still know me by my maiden name - Calhoun. I love teaching and working with children brings so much joy to each day. Prior to working at CKS, I taught 4th grade, but found that Kindergarten is the perfect fit for me!

My husband and I are both Texas A&M Aggies, and I graduated with a degree in English. I have traveled throughout the states, moving from place to place and having my first move at the tender age of 10 days! I have lived in Texas for the majority of my life and although not born here, I definitely consider myself a Texan!

I am so honored to be working with your children at Christ the King School. I have seen so many of my students grow throughout the years and having a new group to work with each year always brings new excitement and adventures!
