Welcome Back! I hope everyone is rested and ready to return to a new year full of running, jumping, throwing, and catching.
Physical education is not only activity, but also a way to learn self control, good sportsmanship, and team cooperation. It is very important for me to instill this in all my students.
We will continue the “Good Sport of the Week”. It has been a great success and I know everyone will strive even harder this year to continue their great sportsmanship. This award is determined by the student’s willingness to share, include others, offer help to another student, and be respectful of the teacher and others, the gym, and all the equipment being used.
We will be having health class once a week in which we will discuss nutrition, safety, bullying, hygiene, etc. and other aspects of health. Health class will include worksheets/handouts, demonstrations, videos, individual and group work.
