Miss Schad

Welcome to 2nd Grade Red!  My name is Miss Emmy Schad and I feel so blessed to be part of the Christ the King family.  This is my fifth year teaching 2nd grade, my second year at CKS.

I grew up in Valley View, Texas; a small rural community about an hour north of Dallas, with my parents, two brothers, and sister.  I attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and Lindsay High School.  I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Dallas in Irving, Texas.  My master’s degree is in Teacher Leadership from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, Tennessee.

After living three years in Memphis, I moved back to Dallas to be near friends and family.  This past summer, I became engaged to Mr. Alex Torockov of Dallas.  We will be married in June of 2008.
