Homework:

Homework should take about 45 minutes to 1 hour per night, Monday through Thursday. This includes studying and memorizing math facts. Each child will be required to read 100 minutes per week. This reading should be recorded in their RED LOG folder. The red log folder will be due back each week on MONDAY MORNING. If Monday is a holiday or day off of school, it will be due the next school day. Parents should assist the student recording the books read, and must initial the reading log after each entry. Along with reading logs, a Math Log is required each week. Each student is expected to practice math facts or math related problems for 40 minutes per week and record this in their RED LOG folder. Parent should also initial the math log entry.

Weekly Communication:

The Green Friday folder is sent home each week and contains graded class work and tests from that week. These are called Friday Folders because they are sent home every Friday. Please sign and return this folder, and any work that is marked 75% or below, and return the following Monday.

The Red assignment notebook that is in your child's white binder has a weekly behavior record. Please check this each week and sign that you have seen it.
