The Christ the King School Library functions as the information center for the school by providing access to a full range of information resources and materials, in both traditional and electronic format.
The CKS Librarian and teachers collaborate to enhance curricular studies and to promote a lifelong love of reading. Students have an extensive selection of books to choose for pleasure reading, as well as access to web resources and subscription databases in the adjacent computer lab.
It is the goal of the school library program to ensure that students become literate, life–long learners and effective and responsible users of ideas and information.
In June 2006, the CKS Library received a major overhaul, complete with new shelves, tables, chairs, and computer stations. We are grateful to the Catholic Foundation and the Patrick Henry family for their generous donations which made these renovations possible
